Scandal of Grace

Hey, hi reader!

It’s been a while since my last post. Quite a while of eight months. How does this brain of mine function if not for clients’ content?

To summarize everything, we’re back in the Philippines… for good. It was a thought that popped when we were on a short (really short) trip to Vienna. Of course, we wouldn’t just jump out of the window without plans, it was all by faith and prayers that fueled our courage.

The night of our trip, favor upon favor and people who have been with us until the end is an unforgettable memory. In this kind of situation, I’d make sure to repay (in any way) them more than what they have given.

This life is all about His grace. Given in a life-and-death situation, still, His protection and Sovereignty ruled over. Even if we were the ones on the liability side, I was reminded to give grace.

As the song says, “If his grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking”. Grace despite the trauma, no one got hurt bloody badly. Grace to be thankful and learn from the situation. Grace to forgive despite our advantages, we chose to give more. And to be reminded that our daily lives of good health, protection and family wouldn’t exist if not for His grace.

My heart turns into praises with this song:
You take what the enemy meant for evil
And You turn it for good
You turn it for good
