2021 is a bittersweet year. Despite some failures, unexpected costs and broken trust I have the things that money can’t buy. My marriage, family, protection over sickness and daily activities, stable mind and heart (sometimes haha!). If you are reading this, take time to reflect on all the blessings, achievements or victories you had received.
Things I am grateful for over the year:
- January: Seafood Villa
- February: Dart Cafe and Ola Brasil
- March – April: Started selling Korean beauty products online (Amazon and Desertcart)
- May: Family Staycation at Ghayathi
- June: Eleaz’s second birthday (still a home celebration)
- July: My son was diagnosed with bronchitis (darkest days of my life), realigned all of my priorities (
resigned) - August: Four years of being married
Started homeschooling and got free resources from Pinterest
Visited Dubai after 10 months of lockdown border - September: Went to Splash Park (two Fridays)
Visited Abu Dhabi Organic Farm - October: Won a Rayban sunglasses from Rivoli Vision (for Eleaz)
Explored Khor Fakkan
Birthday Celebration at Barouk (sponsored)
Got extra moolah from the husband but I spend it on (our) buffet and brunch deals 😂 - November: Became a mystery shopper/assessor (let me know if you’re interested so I can give referral!)
- December: Traveled to another country after almost two years since pandemic
Passed IELTS (me and the husband)
Best and Worst:
- Best Sushi Place : Cho Gao
- Best Buffet (sponsored): Movenpick JBR
- Worst Restaurants: Bluefin (sanitation), Terminal Food (much like fastfood)
- Worst Buffet: Jing Asia and Symphony Restaurant (just don’t go there even if it’s low-cost)
For 2022, I will try to visit at least one restaurant I have never been to. Also, I am expecting greater things to come. This year is gonna be a year of fulfilling dreams and aspirations.
Thanks God for everything and bless you more
