How wonderful it is to win a 500 AED worth of food especially with a service that is… let me tell you later! I won a giveaway on Instagram from Kimuraya. We were able to visit the place last 19th of November, located at the far area of Mariott Hotel Al Jadaf.
The place has an exclusive vibe with massive heavy chairs that almost weigh approximately 25-30 kg (I cannot move it as easily). Kimuraya serves a combination of sushi, shabu-shabu and ramen. We ordered ala carte instead of the unlimited bbq and hotpot.
Our drinks were served after 10 minutes and the Yakiniku Wagyu followed after another 20 minutes (30 minutes from original waiting time). The orders were given one by one, only to end up waiting an hour for the Takumi Set (which isn’t enough for two ‘cos I could finish it all 😂). It was disorganized and have to annoyingly check with our order. In the end, I lost my appetite and wasn’t satisfied (nalipasan ng gutom).
Many influencers have marketed the place. I have accepted many collaborations and mystery assessments but none is as slow of their service. I don’t know if it is acceptable or the least we should’ve eaten at fast food instead. They have offers of 50% off but I think it is the “real price” 😛
