Open Letter To Eleaz

To our dear Eleaz,

On the 23rd of June 2019, an angel has been born.
A strong and healthy 7.29 lbs baby.
Your squishy cheeks are inviting yet so fragile. Struggle is an understatement to describe the first few weeks since it was only the three of us (with no help at all). We get anxious with your skin sensitivities as we are new to this parenting thing.

Every detail of you is precious. You hold our hearts with those tiny fingers and a charming look we would melt for. Days and nights are long. But now when we look back, time is a thief. Life was played fast forward.

Over the months with your milestones: saying Mama as your first word but Didi is your favorite one to call, first tooth at almost six months, understanding and learning the concept of your toys and your love for food. Everyday we get impressed by your skills and things that you learn. You are not afraid to explore. And your curiosity makes you wanna bite everything.

Today marks you first year on Earth, but always remember we are in this world but not of this world. When life seems to be challenging, we are here to guide you and a God we could cling on. We are far from perfect but we’ll make sure to give you the best we can.
