Thoughts
From red to plum, finally, I got my hands with a brown shade. Careline is Filipino brand that is known for their affordability along with other brands like Ever Bilena and HBC (the brands I knew when I left the country 🤦‍♀️). There are many rising brands now in the Philippines which I will explore next month. This is my first time to try a product from Careline. I bought this from a newly opened Philippine Green House Cosmetic Equipment across Al Wahda Mall.

The SRP of the Matte Liquid Lipstick is 195 PHP. You have to put a double application to achieve that chocolate-brown shade. It reminds me of Galaxy Smooth Milk Chocolate. Make sure your lips are exfoliated before applying and add a lip balm over the lipstick to rock the look.

Before buying this shade make sure to assess yourself HONESTLY with the condition of your skin tone and lips. The following images below will help you to buy lipsticks wisely. I bought a beige shade almost two years ago from Gosh Cosmetics where the saleslady put on a full makeup in me. The next day when I wore the shade, it didn’t flatter. Eventually, I learned that lighter shades need a full makeup so it wouldn’t become dull. I ended up spending 70+ AED just to give it to a friend 🤦‍♀️
