Sumo Sushi & Bento

Last Thursday, I went to Sumo Sushi & Bento to claim the prize I won. The prize is to choose ONE of the three specials for the month of April: Tom Yumm Roll, Glass Noodle Plate and Green Dream Smoothie. Obviously, I’d go for the sushi. 😋

Kuya Sherwin and I enjoyed our free transportation within Masdar City. Masdar is a Green City of Abu Dhabi where it uses renewable resources. Promoting sustainability using clean technology solutions. Masdar has complete establishments like companies, university, restaurants, laundry services, bank and park.

Tom Yumm Roll for 53 AED

When I was about to claim the prize, the waiter was hesitant and asked for an email confirmation and a printed voucher. I was about to lose my temper (since I didn’t eat and I prepared myself for this) even if I showed the message confirmation on Instagram with the code. God reminded me of grace (maybe he isn’t aware of the marketing they have on Instagram).

Ebi Gyoza for 33 AED

Tom Yumm Roll is spicy but you can remove the chili though (so it’s according to your preference). The Ebi Gyoza was expensive for the five pieces but when I think about it, maybe it’s because they’re paying a high rate at Masdar, so it’s reasonable. We also added Iced Tea (bottomless) which costs for 19 AED. I was impressed with their drinks since we can change the flavor per refill. In their menu, the bento is a delight to the eyes. Maybe I’ll try it next time.
