Days after Valentines day, another holiday celebration (cheat holiday) has occurred, the Chinese New Year! I remembered taking Mandarin classes during my summer Sophomore year. Chinese is the most spoken language in the world. Yes, you read that right! It is because of China’s population, the American English is down to the next spot.

But it ain’t easy learning the Chinese language especially if you have an instructor who doesn’t know how to speak English (let’s talk about sign language EVERY TIME). Ms Marie of Deserted in UAE suggested to me to check this authentic Chinese restaurant. Perfect way to celebrate Chinese New Year while avoiding crowded places.
Braised Beef Noodle for 30 AED
The fellow Kabayan said this is the best-seller dish for Filipinos. Unlike other Asian restaurants which they used instant noodles/ramen, this one is made up to order. You can see through the glass how it’s done.

Fried Calamari for 24 AED
I don’t know but calamari is my safe dish at a first-time visit restaurants.
Fried Rice for 22 AED
This rice is enough for 3-4 people! I suggest you only order one dish and this rice, and you’re good to go.
Siomai Beef for 19 AED
Guo Bao Beef for 42 AED
The first time we tasted this dish, there was an aftertaste. My husband jokingly said it tastes like a firecracker. We raised our concern to the owner and they immediately replaced it with a new one. There was a big difference with the first one we had. What a great customer service!
All over we ordered too much food for two persons (you will feel sleepy after eating, that’s the sorcery they have š). The place is clean with a wide space that can accommodate more people and it somehow private because of the location.
Xīn NiÔn Kuà i Lè!
