Dubai Cosmetic Surgery focuses on enhancing face (lifts, fillers, hair transplants) and body features (sculpting, slimming, transplants). For those who are afraid of needles (I could relate to that) they are offering non-treatment facials. They are called non-treatments since it is non-injectables and non-laser. It’s my first time to try a facial within two decades of my life.

To start with, Dubai Cosmetic Surgery uses a prime product namely Nimue. The same with the Korean 10-Step Skincare routine they put first a cleanser followed by a toner. After toning the skin she started to exfoliate. Next to the exfoliation process is the 15-minute steam. The steam was relaxing and looking at those open pores scares me.
These are the following products used in the facial:
- Cleansing Gel – Acidic based cleanser
- Conditioner (or toner)- restores skin health
- Exfoliator – removes dead skin cells and promotes cell renewal
- Super Hydrating Mask – additional hydration and anti-aging support in all skin types and conditions
- Sunscreen SPF 40 – UVA/UVB protection and anti-aging benefits to assist in reducing and preventing the visible signs of photo aging
- Vitamin C Mist

The painful part was the removal of the blackheads/whiteheads. My big pores weren’t ready for this but I endured the pain. I couldn’t help but tear. Ms. Claire had to put a hole (tiny weeny needle) on the whiteheads under the skin. I think I had three. She even told me whiteheads is minus 10 years of my actual age. That’s how much I had accumulated (Every now and then I put on nose strips but I’m lazy enough to do the exfoliation part).

In my condition of combination skin, it is necessary to have the skin moisturized and hydrated. The moisturizer will seal all the products in the skin. It is advised to visit and maintain facial every month. The whole facial costs 700 AED, it may be pricey but it sure hygienic than any regular salons. Let me be honest with you, I’m a bit disappointed since it isn’t like any spa that you are treated like a royalty (wearing a bathrobe and sipping a hot tea).
